He served as long-term Head of Department of Political Economy at the Faculty of Economic Science at the University of Warsaw. Currently, he is Head of Department of European Integration at the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is the head of the editorial board of Ekonomista.
